PRYOR, Okla. – March 12, 2003 –
Upperspace Corp. today announced a new CD ROM training package - Learning Photoshop 7.
This newest TrainingA computer training package by Upperspace Corp., named “Learning Photoshop 7,” offers training especially geared to help graphic artists and aspiring graphic artists become proficient with Photoshop. Each course runs approximately four hours and is packed with situational computer solutions for digital imaging.

Learning Photoshop 7 includes four training courses:
• Learning Photoshop 7, The Basics
• Learning Photoshop 7, Intermediate

• Learning Photoshop 7, Advanced
• Learning Photoshop 7, Web Imagery

Learning Photoshop 7 - The Basics
Hop on the fast track to learning Photoshop and get comfortable with graphics lingo, creating graphics and adjusting each image’s properties according to the function it will perform. The Photoshop window will begin to excite you as you learn how to use it skillfully.

Learning Photoshop 7 - Intermediate
“Creativity is my middle name,” you’ll say as you roll up your sleeves and let the images sync together. With this course you’ll have the upper hand over layer management, color gradients, advanced text features, shapes, filters and much, much more.

Learning Photoshop 7 - Advanced
Pull those images together, obedient to your skillful command. With this course you’ll learn tips and tricks for professional imaging in Photoshop. You’ll be able to correct color, mend images, copy protect your work and use add-in programs to push Photoshop even further.

Learning Photoshop 7 - Web Imagery
Images will make or break a website’s continuity and its load time. With this course you’ll learn techniques for making images that always “make” the site. Your optimized images will be perfect for websites, promotional HTML email messages or even popup advertisements.

All TrainingA courses by Upperspace Corp. are created to keep learners attentively involved with the course for faster learning and productivity. Interactivity is built into each course so the learner has to perform the actions by selecting commands, options, files or pressing keystrokes. To further spike interest levels many lessons include "Do It Yourself" sections. After a concept has been taught, a similar need rises directly afterward - but this time the learner is instructed to perform the action on their own without any additional help. The task to be accomplished appears written on screen until the learner completes the task without assistance. The “Do It Yourself” may require one, two or more steps to complete.

A quiz is provided for each chapter. The majority of questions include familiar images of the program window. This dynamic testing method helps people to identify with the real program more so than a text-only question and is a superior method for gauging real ability. When a picture of the window appears, the learner clicks as appropriate to perform the requested task. The correct answer is immediately displayed with an explanation, often accompanied by tricks or tips for best productivity and application. The quiz is scored and can be printed.

The interface and design of TrainingA courses offer many useful features. A course index can be searched by keyword and the lesson accessed. A large 800x600 resolution training window appears for easier viewing. Practical tips accompany the lessons. Course help for navigating and using a TrainingA course is also included. This help may be accessed from the course menu or while a lesson is playing.
