1 box white cake mix
1 small box strawberry Jell-O
3 tbsp flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup cooking oil
4 unbeaten eggs (remove one
yolk to use for icing)
1/2 cup water
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 large box frozen
strawberries
Icing:
1 egg yolk
1/2 stick butter
2 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 large box frozen
strawberries
Cake:
Mix together cake mix,
gelatin, flour and salt. Make a well in the mixture and add oil, eggs, water and
vanilla. Mix. Fold in strawberries. Pour in 13"x9" pan. Fill no more than half
full. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes.
Icing:
Mix egg yolk, butter, sugar
and vanilla. Fold in strawberries. Ice cake while hot.
