New Drawing
Wizards ModelCAD 3000 allows you to define standard title blocks and borders for easy insertion into a blank drawing, or make your own blank drawing sheet by specifying drawing units and unit width of the screen. Other standard values such as print margins and large and small cursor step can be saved as defaults.
-
New Double-Line Command
Double-lines can now be created in the program to a specified offset while drawing, removing the need for paralleling them later as a separate step. Lines can capped at the start, finish, or at both ends of the line. Additionally the right, left, or center of the double line can be aligned to the cursor's position while drawing. You can also decide to have filled or hollow double-lines when placing them on the drawing. Double lines that cross each other will even Auto-trim, cleaning up the intersection of two double-lines seamlessly.

Output HTML Wizard
Get your drawings out on the web easier and quicker with ModelCAD
3000's new Output HTML wizard, which generates a web page for you. You can even type in the title and body of the web page, and ModelCAD will generate the page and insert your drawing within it. You can also set the image size of your output graphic, as well as the text and background color of your web page from within the wizard.

Direct Email Support
Email the current drawing, or all open drawings to anyone on the web with ModelCAD
3000's Send commands. Just by choosing a command, ModelCAD automatically launches your email client, and attaches a copy of your drawings as an attachment.
-
Easier to Use Ortho Lines
ModelCAD's Line and Ortho Line commands have been combined into one easier to use command. Now as you are drawing lines, you can switch between normal and ortho lines for greater control of line direction.
-
Polygon Selection
Objects can be selected by a bounding box shape now instead of the standard selection rectangle.
-
Drawing Data Display
Line length and angle can now be displayed at the cursor position in real time as you draw. Object information like circle radius, diameter, and object width and height is also available.
-
Scan Your Current Designs
Scan your favorite airplane designs directly into the program with any Windows compliant Twain scanner.
